Introduced in 1993 and 1994, the NEXUS digital audio router with distributed concept and contiguous fibre-optic networking and the awarded CANTUS mixing-console system are milestones on the way to a creative utilization of digital technology.
Today, Stage Tec is one of the most demanded vendors of professional audio systems on the international market. The new light-flooded building on the bank of the Spree River in Berlin houses not only the R&D department but also the production facilities with multiple quality-check halls and a dedicated recording studio. Ten of the eleven engineers who once founded the enterprise as some kind of employee-owned company are active partners still today, constantly advancing innovation and efficiency.
