Nashville, Tenn.—Adtec Digital Inc. recently opened offices in Miami and the Latin American region, offering customers innovative solutions for digital ad insertion, IPTV and DVB distribution.
“Latin America is seeing its best economic growth in 20 years, especially in technology,” Director of International Sales, Guillermo Ramirez said. “Adtec is aggressively investing into these markets presenting feasible and economic pricing, reliable products with excellent quality, and most importantly, offering a support infrastructure behind our products.”
Adtec has employed personnel to administer to the specific needs of different countries in Latin America, including the Mercosur region (Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay), Mexico and Central America, as well as Miami, Florida of the United States.
“We have invested personnel for the Latin American market, with people that know the market and have worked in the market,” Ramirez said. “Unlike our competitors, Adtec is investing more time in Latin America with products at prices that our Latin American customers are able to consider.”
Adtec provides a reliable and flexible solution for cable operators in Latin America who want to transition to an open digital video broadcasting platform utilizing encoders and multiplexers.
“The Adtec solution is economical, at one third of the cost of the nearest competitor,” Ramirez said. “In addition, our solutions have support not only from the local distributor but also from our Latin America Miami office.”
Adtec’s solution is DVB-ASI compliant, resulting in an open platform, where the operator can be selective on the choice of set-top-box. Adtec’s solution also offers optional conditional access, presenting the market with a flexible, economical platform, with no commitment to one supplier.
“The Adtec solution holds advantages offering an open platform versus the traditional market suppliers for cable operators,” Ramirez said. “We offer the cable operator flexibility in a solution in which they can choose three or four different DVB set-top-boxes and simultaneously implement two or three different types of conditional access systems, allowing the cable operator to grow with a platform that does not totally change over time.”
