Acterna Wins Two Readers' Choice Awards |

GERMANTOWN, Md. -- July 16, 2004 -- Acterna today announced that the company has won two Communications Technology Readers' Choice Awards, an annual program sponsored by the official trade journal of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), honoring the industry's most innovative new products.
In the category of Cable Telephony, Acterna's Digital Service Activation Meter (DSAM) 3500 and 3600 were selected for multiple features that include testing cable modem services, digital video, analog video, and PacketCable™-based voice over IP (VoIP). Acterna's TechComplete Closeout Testing Solution, with the ability to not only automate testing on the Acterna Digital Service Activation Meter (DSAM) family of test instruments, but also integrate test results with work orders, won in the program's Operations Support System category.
